Today (As in August 13th)

Aaron and I did some back road drivin' today, and we managed to stumble upon this adorable little bed and breakfast located smack dab in the middle of nowhere (aka somewhere in Winchester, KY) The Blue Heron. Don't pass it up if you're just driving through. Oh, AND they have goats. Goats! That's where the majority of our afternoon went. I'd call it a day well spent!

Braid-ish

Hi, kids! We're back again for a super short post, but I wanted to share a super cute/ super easy hair style with you all. Anyone who knows me at all knows that me "fixing" my hair consists of rolling my windows down; however, every once in a blue moon, I'll try my hand at something new. This was my new and I'm a little in love with it. I call it my cheat braid (my brain cannot comprehend all of the braids) Anyhoo, check it out!

Hopeful

So remember that sweet baby girl I told you a little bit about in my earlier post? This is her!

I know what you're thinking. She's no longer a peanut. She's more along the lines of a large cantaloupe (I'm not kidding. That's what the app says!) Guys, today officially marks four weeks until we get to meet her. There are no words to express our excitement for that day. It has gone by SO fast. She has been so wonderful. I will brag on this little girl every single day if given the opportunity.

I tell Aaron all the time that I hope she has his freckles (they're honestly my favorite). I also hope that she has his mad art skills-he can draw like a beast. I could sit here and name off so many hopes that we have for her, but in the end, our hope for her is that she is able to find something to smile about every single day. And that she knows no stranger. Our hope for her is that she may find the silver lining in every situation, and that she won't miss out on rolling her windows down for fear of messing up her hair a little. We hope for her to be present in every moment that she possibly can be, and to not be afraid to have that second bowl of ice cream. When she loves, we hope that she loves so much it hurts. And we hope for her happiness, because in the end that's what matters the most. A life full of happiness. Needless to say, we have big aspirations for our girl. She has rocked our worlds so much already. See you soon, sweet girl!

These Are a Few of my Favorite Things

What's better than a coffee mug? Not much... except a thrifty coffee mug with hot air balloons.

Nothing beats a trip to Goodwill. Especially when your belly is full of Penn Station and you have a super cool boyfriend to browse with. His name is Aaron, and he enjoys long walks on the beach and pina colada's while getting caught in the rain. You'll read about him probably WAY. TOO. MUCH throughout this blog, but that's okay because I love him a lot! The term "boyfriend" is such a terrible cliché. He is my best friend and the one who I will stand in line at Chipotle with for the rest of my life, and I am 100% okay with that. Did I mention that we also have an awesome little girl on the way? Hendrix Lee. She's already the coolest baby ever and she's not even due until August 30th- that's 4 more weeks, y'all. It's insane! You'll probably read about her way too much as well, but guys, these two are my favorites and they are worth every second, I promise.

Until next time...

Third Time's a Charm

Well as it turns out, the third time is in fact a charm (but who's counting?) I'm extremely excited to get back into the blogging game! A LOT has happened within just a few years, and I promise that I will get you caught up all in good time.
I have been considering reopening this account for a while now, but as a true blue procrastinator, I always manage to get a little side tracked. No mas! Plus I have some really cool things happening right now, and I would love nothing more than to share these things with you. I vow to try my absolute hardest to keep up with this project this time around-cross my heart and kiss my elbow.
